What is a Glass Coating?
Coatings are often referred to as ceramic coating, the term “ceramic” is one that has been the popular buzzword. The term Glass Coating which is made up of purely high concentration of Silicon Dioxide, is often technically termed SiO2. Once applied, the liquid cures to a hard crystalline layer that is completely transparent and gives the treated surface realistic long-term protection with amazing gloss.
Designed in the USA and engineered in Japan, AquaTek Coatings are uniquely blended from some of the highest quality sourced SiO2 and materials. Highly engineered to create a reliable glass coating that makes for an extremely hydrophobic surface that is resistant to UV, environmental contaminants, repels dirt and chemical resistance. Providing additional gloss to a properly paint corrected finish. Independently tested to meet strict JIS – Japanese Industrial Standards.
